Cleaning
When cleaning the lashes, rinse them with warm water and pat dry gently, but do not use cotton pads. It is normal to lose a few lashes within the first 24 hours while the adhesive is curing. Try to prevent the lashes getting too wet for the first 24 hours and avoid saunas and steam for the first 48 hours. Eyelash curlers should not be used and avoid rubbing or pulling the lashes as this can remove the lashes before they are ready to fall out. You can groom the lashes with an eyelash brush, but avoid using any oil based products on the lashes.
Lash Perfect lash extensions can last up to 4-6 weeks with the correct aftercare. The lifetime of the lashes will also depend on the growth cycle of your natural lashes. Your natural lashes fall out when they reach the end of their growth cycle and because the synthetic lash is attached to the natural lash it will also fall out.
Maintenance
We recommend a maintenance appointment every 2-3 weeks to top up any of the lashes that have fallen out naturally. This allows us to apply a replacement lash to the new natural lash that has grown. This process takes approximately 30 minutes and will ensure that your lashes always remain in beautiful condition.
We do recommend that a fresh set is applied after 10-12 weeks.
